The début performance of the PI Flamenco Dance Theatre, founded in 2014. Flamenco Dance Theatre — the only of its kind in Lithuania — introduced Lithuanian audiences to a new story about Carmen and her earthly divine nature, breathing with Spanish spirit and rhythms of flamenco.

Fluttering skirts of flamenco dancers will tell a story about Carmen — one of the many women living among us. She is dreamy, capricious and at the same time determined to fight for her world and striving for acknowledgement. Each woman will recognize her “inner Carmen” and desire to arrange her own world, from searching for the “inner me” to very domestic moments.

CARMEN: If the God Was a Woman is a flamenco dance performance, which will engage everyone and leave them thinking about the world made by their own Carmen... The performance will delight the audience with rhythmic tapping of flamenco shoes and a group of charismatic dancers of Spanish looks. A note worth to mention is that some of the fabrics for the dancers' costumes were brought straight from Spain. In total the costumes required more than a hundred metres of all kinds of fabrics.

Flamenco Dance Theatre is happy to be able to present Lithuanian audiences with a performance effervescent with Spanish energy and femininity — CARMEN: If the God Was a Woman. Length of the performance - 1 h
